Alec Daniel Bedell (born December 14, 1993) is an American television personality and model, best known for starring in the The CW reality show California Dreaming.
Life and career[]
Early life[]
Bedell was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to John Bedell and Cynthia Anne Cappuccini, who moved from Rhode Island two years before his birth. His father works at a power plant, while his mother is a wedding planner. He is of Anglo-American, Irish, and German descent on his father's side, and Italian descent on his mother's side.
Bedell was raised in a middle-class household. He has a younger sister: Savannah, and a younger brother: Thomas. Bedell attended Forest Hill Community High School, where he played football and baseball, and graduated in 2012. After graduating, Bedell attended Palm Beach State College as a biology major, dropping out after his first year.
Career[]
While a college student, Bedell began modeling professionally in Miami to support himself. In 2014, he moved to Los Angeles and left his Miami agency, instead signing to an agency in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, Bedell furthered his modeling career as a print model and runway model. He has walked runways in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, London, and Paris.
